The following perks function differently as stated below:
Brown Noser: You gain +5 to your reputation. This perk now has 3 ranks.

Companion: Your companion does not receive any starting loot, and you are limited to a dog or hairy deathclaw companion, as detailed under character creation in this wiki. If your companion dies you can hire another one before the start of the next mission.

Empathy: This perk also adds 2 to your reputation, as you always know what to say to your superiors.

Empowering: You do not gain any wealth for your companion, just the bonus +1 level cap.

Karma Beacon: This perk also doubles your karma for determining your total reputation.

Cult Of Personality: This perk also doubles your karma for determining your total reputation.

Wanderer: This perk also adds 2 to your reputation.

Speaker: This perk also adds 2 to your reputation.

Devils Highway and Escalator to Heaven: Reduce the gain loss by 1000 points.
